Abstract
Professionalism of Madrasah Ibtidaiah Teachers in Facing the Era of Society 5.0. In responding to the Society 5.0 era, the Importance of Increasing Teacher Professionalism in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah educational institutions is not enough to apply old literacy (reading, writing, arithmetic), but must apply new literacy (data literacy, technological literacy and human resource literacy or humanism). This article aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the Professionalism of primary education teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the Society 5.0 era, how professional teachers in the new normal era between the opportunities and challenges in online learning. This research is a study of literature or literature on professional teacher information in the new normal era in the face of the Society 5.0 era. Primary data is taken from writings or articles about teachers in the new normal era in the face of the Society 5.0 era. Analysis of the data using content analysis. The results of this review show that strengthening new literacy for Islamic elementary education teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is the key to change, revitalizing literacy-based curriculum and strengthening the role of teachers who have digital competence. Teachers play a role in building a generation of competence, character, having new literacy skills, and higher-order thinking skills. Islamic basic education teachers as the basis for determining intellectual, spiritual, and emotional intelligence in children, must strengthen 21st century literacy skills. Starting from creative aspects, critical thinking, communicative, and collaborative. Islamic primary education Madrasah Ibtidaiyah urgently strengthens new literacy and revitalizes digital-based curriculum. Curriculum revitalization refers to the five basic values of good students, namely resilience, adaptability, integrity, competence, and continuous improvement. Islamic elementary education educators at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah must become digital, computersavvy teachers. The goal is to create a generation of high-level competence, character and literacy to answer the challenges of the era of Society 5.0
