Abstract
This research aims to analyze the changes of the curriculum towards the so-called "Merdeka curriculum." The research applies quantitative methods. The data were collected by interviewing the school principal and distributing questionnaires to teachers, curriculum development team, and school management staff who prepared the curriculum. The implications of this study affect various policies managed by schools and the existing values in the institution, such as the character values of the Pancasila student profile. The results for the readiness variable for the curriculum changes are sufficient. The influence of school management from the results of the F-count states that 76.4% of the X variable affects the Y variable. The school management has a strong influence on the readiness in such changes, meaning that the more school management prepares carefully and sustainably, the more curriculum changes get better and more successful; therefore, it affects the quality of schools and the quality of learning.
