Abstract
This study examines the role of digital in the development of Arabic language studies and identifies the associated strengths and barriers. In an era where information and communication digital are increasingly changing the way we learn, teach, and conduct research in Arabic, it is important to understand the positive contributions as well as the obstacles that can arise. The study also discusses barriers that may arise in the utilization of digital in the development of Arabic language studies, such as accessibility issues, differences in digital infrastructure, and ethical challenges related to the use of digital in the context of Arabic language and culture. This research is a literature study regarding digital in Arabic language education, with two steps, namely identifying literature and reviewing literature. This research will help in understanding the best practices and barriers commonly faced in the development of language studies using digital. The research proposes that digital has great potential to enrich the study of Arabic by providing access to better learning resources and research tools, but also emphasizes the importance of overcoming barriers that may arise. The findings of the review on the role of digitalization in the development of Arabic language studies show several forces and barriers. Some of the strengths of digitalization in the development of Arabic studies include its ability to facilitate access to learning resources, enable innovation in teaching methods, and enable collaboration between researchers. However, on the other hand, there are also several obstacles, such as lack of adequate resources and infrastructure, as well as challenges in ensuring the quality of digital learning resources. Therefore, while digitalization offers great potential in the development of Arabic language studies, efforts need to be made to overcome these barriers.
