Abstract

The development of technology has significantly facilitated human life, including its impact on education. One notable example is the introduction of computer-based examinations in primary schools as a replacement for traditional paper-based tests. SDN 1 Gadingkulon is one such primary school that needs to utilize computer-based technology for learning and examinations. However, many students struggle to operate these technologies effectively. Therefore, socialization and assistance by the KKN (Community Service Program) team at SDN 1 Gadingkulon are essential. The service method employs a scientific approach designed to conceptualize understanding as well as practice. The results show that the socialization process for 5th and 6th-grade students at SDN 1 Gadingkulon was successful. This was followed by the introduction of Microsoft Word features, including their functions and uses. The conclusion of this community service activity is that the socialization and assistance were effective and had a significant impact on the students. Following the activity, 90 percent of the students were able to operate computers, particularly for school exams, a task they were previously unfamiliar with.
