Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in learning Arabic reading skills at the elementary
madrasah level. Therefore, through problem identification, it is necessary to develop
learning methods based on "independent learning," which can increase student
motivation, improve reading skills, and provide flexibility to access materials and do
exercises. The Borg and Gall research and development design was used in the study
through 8 of the ten development steps, namely identifying potential and problems,
collecting information, designing products, designs validation, designing improvements,
products testing, revising products, and testing usage. The results of this study are: 1) The
live worksheet application is suitable for meeting the needs of reading skills teaching
materials according to indicators with an attractive appearance and efficient time, 2)
teaching material products through the live worksheet application are included in the
very worthy category with a percentage of 83% from material experts and 85% from
media experts, and 3) the product is considered practical with a percentage score of
83.86%.
