Abstract

The implications of implementing the Independent Curriculum require madrasas to carry out various kinds of preparations,which are not easy, one of which is preparing human resources, which in this case are teachers. Teachers are a crucialcomponent in implementing the Independent Curriculum. Apart from carrying out learning as usual, teachers mustdesign co-curricular activities that support the realization of the Pancasila Student Profile. The Malang Regency Ministry of Religion instructed all madrasas toregister as participants in implementingthe Independent Curriculum. However, there has been no intensive technical assistance to madrasa teachers. Teachers' knowledge regarding the implementation of the Independent Curriculum comes from socialization,which only generally discusses the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Madrasas. Therefore,this service activity generally aims to assistSunan Ampel Poncokusumo Foundation teachers in preparing independent curriculum-based learning tools. The method for implementing this service uses Participatory Action Research (PAR). The method of implementing service consists of planning, action, observation,and reflection activities.The training for preparing teaching modules based on the independent curriculum went well. Several participants succeeded in developing independent curriculum-based teaching module products. Continuous assistance from theService Team is necessary to improvethe quality of human resources and learning within the Sunan Ampel Poncokusumo Foundation
