Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and illustrate the integration of creativity and technology in the practice of speaking skills at Al-Mumtazah Muhammadiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Ajibarang, Banyumas, and Az-Zahra Al-Gontory Modern Islamic Education Institute. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used as methods for data collection in the field. The researchers then conducted data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the integration of creativity and technology in speaking practice at Al-Mumtazah Muhammadiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School was implemented through vocabulary delivery, weekly morning conversations, language zones and days, Arabic public speaking, watching short videos, and giving punishments. Meanwhile, at Az-Zahra Al-Gontory Modern Islamic Education Institute, the integration was carried out through simple expressions that were later uploaded to Instagram.
