Abstract

The world of education requires teachers to play a role in creating a learning activity that is able to attract students' interest so that in their learning activities students can easily understand the subject matter being delivered. The purpose of this research is to produce flipbook digital media products to improve student learning outcomes of water cycle materials in class V. The research method used is Research and Development using the ADDIE model which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate. The subjects of the research carried out were 58 students in class V of MI Darussalam Blitar. The instruments used were observation sheets, structured interviews, and tests with science questions. The results of the study show that the digital flipbook media that has been developed was validated by three expert validators, namely media experts obtained a percentage of 83.5%, material experts of 93.3%, and learning experts of 95.7% with very valid results and suitable for use without revision. The increase in student learning outcomes was shown by the results of the n-gain calculation which showed an increase in the value of the control class by 34% from the average of 55.86 to 70.58 and the results of the experimental class showed an increase of 75%. from an average of 57.59 to 88.62. There was a significant difference between the use of flipbook digital media in the experimental class and the conventional method without treatment in the control class. So it can be concluded that flipbook digital media can improve the learning outcomes of grade V students at MI Darussalam Blitar.
