Abstract

Arabic is one of the important materials to be taught in madrasas, this is because Arabic is one of the main sciences to understand and deepen Islam, especially for a Muslim. However, in practice, learning Arabic has not been fully carried out effectively and on target. Differentiated learning is present as a way to deal with this problem through flexible group learning strategies. The purpose of this study is to find out the stages of implementation of flexible group learning strategies in Arabic language learning at MA Attaraqqie and how students respond to it. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire data collection methods. The result of this study is that the learning stages are carried out with a homogeneous group division for students with the same level of competence in listening and speaking skills while a heterogeneous group consisting of students of various levels of competence in reading and writing skills. The students' response showed that this strategy was considered "Very Feasible" to implement.
