Abstract

In Indonesian culture has a noble culture that is forgiving and forgive each other culturally. It is, at least evidenced by a culture of mutual forgiveness during the holidays. From the culture is very visible that Indonesia is very respectful to others. Today the phenomenon is slightly eroded the amount of violence that is based on revenge, and the rise of legal prosecution for actions performed by others. It is interesting to examine how the dynamics of this forgiveness. The study aims to look Influence of college education background and personality Big five to forgiveness. The study involved 212 students. The results showed that the influence of educational background have a greater influence on forgiveness compared with personality. These results confirm that the learning process has a greater contribution in social interaction, especially forgiveness.
