Abstract
ENGLISH:
This study aimed to describe the ethics of marketing contained in the Qur’an and its relevance to the current practice of Islamic banking. This study was a library research that examining the data sourced from the literatures, and using thematic interpretation method. The results showed that there are three ethics of marketing contained in the Qur’an, being ethical, professional, and clear. Ethical marketing should meet two components, friendly and manners; Professional marketing should meet two components, being fair in the promotion and fair towards others. Whereas the clear marketing should meet three components, it should implement without bathil way, being realistic and responsible. In addition, the presence of al-Qur’an is needed in Shari’ah banking world of marketing today.
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan etika pemasaran yang terdapat dalam al-Qur’an dan relevansinya pada praktik perbankan syariah saat ini. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yakni penelitian yang menelaah data-data yang bersumber dari bahan-bahan kepustakaan, dengan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga etika pemasaran yang terdapat dalam al-Qur’an yaitu: pemasaran beretika, pemasaran profesional, pemasaran transparan. Disebut pemasaran beretika jika memenuhi dua komponen yaitu lemah lembut/ramah dan sopan santun, kemudian disebut pemasaran profesional jika memenuhi dua komponen yaitu adil dalam promosi dan adil terhadap orang lain. sedangkan yang dimaksud dengan pemasaran transparan jika memenuhi tiga komponen yaitu tidak menggunakan cara bathil, realistis, dan bertanggung jawab. Selian itu, keberadaan pemasaran al-Qur’an sangat dibutuhkan dalam dunia perbankan syari’ah saat ini.
