Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of self-management on learning achievement, with self-motivation as an intervening variable. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, who had finished taking self-management courses in 2020. The population was 135 students. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and calculated using the Slovin formula, until a sample of 98 students was obtained. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that self-management has a significant effect on learning achievement, with self-motivation as an intervening variable. The implication of this research is that students of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University, Malang, who have finished taking self-management courses, are mostly able to manage self-management due to the motivation that continues to be developed within each of them. This has an impact on student achievement.
