Abstract

This study aims to find a model of digital literacy culture in tertiary-based Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of the research is to strengthen the cultivation of digital literacy in improving the knowledge of students in tertiary-based Islamic boarding schools. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. The analysis technique includes three stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion verification. The results of this study are first, a form of digital literacy culture in the form of the use of social media, online media and digital media as media and learning resources for students in learning at university-based Islamic boarding schools. Second, the implementation of the digital literacy culture of students is carried out in limited face-to-face learning activities (offline) and online learning (online). Third, the impact of the digital literacy culture of students includes (1) increasing the reading and writing traditions of students. (2) addition of access and reliable reference tracking information in the digital space. (3) Establishing adaptive competence and digital literacy of students to prepare online and offline learning activities in universitybased Islamic boarding schools
