Abstract

There are, in my opinion, two important issues which need to be appropriately addressed in Islamic Higher Education in Indonesia, critical thinking and intercultural worldview. The first is significant as critical thinking, in my experience, is the problems for majority of English Department students and the latter is critical as the it deals with the nature of being tolerance, the thing that might be effectively promoted through Islamic Higher Education (Kraince, 2007).
