Abstract

This study investigates the impact of intercultural experiences on students' personal and academic development. Drawing on qualitative data from a diverse cohort of university students who participated in interculturality class, the research explores how immersion in different cultural environments influences students' intercultural competence, adaptability, and global awareness. The findings reveal significant enhancements in students' ability to navigate and appreciate cultural differences, as well as improvements in intercultural competence and self-confidence. Additionally, the study identifies challenges such as cultural adjustment difficulties and communication barriers, highlighting the need for better preparatory and supportive measures. These insights contribute to the understanding of the role of intercultural experiences in fostering inclusive and globally minded individuals, and provide recommendations for educational institutions to enhance the effectiveness of intercultural programs. The study underscores the transformative potential of intercultural experiences in shaping students' perspectives and competencies in an increasingly interconnected world.
