Abstract

INDONESIA:

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan LKPD pada materi aljabar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada materi aljabar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate). Penelitian dilakukan di kelas X MA Almaarif Singosari dan subjek yang digunakan adalah 29 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi angket validasi, angket respons peserta didik, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwasanya LKPD telah melalui proses pengembangan dengan model 4D, dengan hasil yang dinyatakan valid, yaitu nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 81,5%, serta dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan nilai persentase rata rata sebesar 82,0%. Adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dibuktikan melalui uji paired sample t-test dan uji N-Gain. Diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, serta nilai uji N-Gain sebesar 70,7%, yang berarti dapat dikategorikan cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, pengembangan LKPD pada materi aljabar dinyatakan valid, sangat praktis, dan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

ENGLISH:

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical, and effective Student Worksheet (SW) on algebra material in improving students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The research was conducted in class X MA Almaarif Singosari and the subjects used were 29 students. The research instruments used included a validation questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis in this study was qualitative and quantitative. The results of the research conducted showed that the Student Worksheet had gone through a development process with a 4D model, with results declared valid, namely an average percentage value of 81.5%, and declared very practical with an average percentage value of 82.0%. The increase in students' critical thinking skills was proven through a paired sample t-test and an N-Gain test. Sig. was obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.000 which shows that 0.000 is less than 0.05, and the N-Gain test value is 70.7%, which means it can be categorized as quite effective. Thus, the development of LKPD on algebra material is declared valid, very practical, and quite effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
