This presentation outlines the essential steps in developing a course syllabus within higher education, focusing on formulating Competency Standards (CS) and Basic Competencies (BC). The process includes analyzing learning outcomes, selecting core content, and creating measurable indicators for assessment. It emphasizes the importance of aligning competencies with learning objectives, ensuring that learning experiences are relevant, and applying operational verbs to define competencies. Furthermore, it highlights the necessity of detailed course planning, from defining CS and BC to structuring learning activities, ensuring they are interactive, engaging, and goal-oriented for student achievement.
