Abstract

Simplification of various social sciences whose main goal is to realize good citizenship is the definition of social studies education. Taking into account its development in Indonesia, a reorientation of social studies education in higher education is needed. The development of higher education with the Campus Independent, Independent-Learning policy has made the existence of the IPS Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang strengthen its curriculum by perfecting and adjusting its
curriculum design and learning presentation during the New Normal Life Period.
