Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of job satisfaction as a mediator of the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative research and an explanatory research approach. The method used in this study is using Partial Least Square (PLS) with smartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that leadership style does not affect employee performance, while the work environment influences employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of leadership style on employee performance, and Job satisfaction mediates the influence of the work environment on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a conducive work environment to increase job satisfaction and encourage employee performance.
